Magnetek, Inc. Launches Economical New Low HP Drive

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. - January 26, 2009 -Magnetek, Inc., introduces the new IMPULSE®•G+ Mini Adjustable Frequency Crane Control.  The low horsepower IMPULSE•G+ Mini offers easy programming, with user-friendly standard programming for basic applications and advanced programming capability for high performance environments. It is designed with an expanded horsepower range and an identical dimensional footprint as the Company’s IMPULSE®•P3 Series 2 drive (up to 5HP) with an even smaller footprint beyond 5HP.

“The IMPULSE•G+ Mini continues our history of providing the most reliable and cost-effective adjustable frequency crane controls available,” stated Perry Pabich, vice president and general manager for Magnetek’s Material Handling business.

The Company’s IMPULSE•P3 Series 2 Crane Control will be available to order through December 2009 and will be supported with parts and service until 2013.
