MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. - December 21, 2010 - Magnetek, Inc., (NYSE: MAG) today
announced that its IMPULSE®•G+ and VG+ Series 3 adjustable frequency crane controls have been rerated
to an increased ambient temperature rating of 60°C (140°F), for use in high temperature crane and
hoist applications.

mills and power plants, we conducted rigorous testing and are pleased to announce that IMPULSE Series
3 drives qualify for use in high ambient temperature applications up to 60 degrees Celsius," said Aaron
